Are there any specific religious groups against the Verichip/RFID technology?
This is for a research project. I know some Christians claim this technology is "the mark of the beast". Are there any active groups that are againist this technology?

The Amish?
The Amish, more than likely.
D’oh, beat by four seconds.
yes there are many that oppose it
I as an atheist find it as offencive to the preservation of basic human rights, chipping the public gives unwarranted access to an individuals freedom, and don’t say orwellian because it is now !
I don’t know of specific groups, but have something that may be of interest.
ID chips are an electronic "barcode" in readable binary form.
Physical barcodes sit on a grid:~
2 thin lines at the left, 2 more in the middle, 2 at the end
These extend down slightly lower than the actual code.
The end ones are "guard bars" . . they turn on & turn off the scan
the center ones are "center bars" . . they change the scan from + to -
When those thin pairs of lines appear IN the code, their value = 6
So each bar code is carried in a grid that reads 6 6 6
If you are speaking of the chips under the skin – a native shaman I know of talked about these once. They have prophecies about the endtimes, and one of them includes something very like this, which is supposed to turn out to be a very bad thing.
