Where are the RFID chips located in the cars?
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips. Where does NASCAR place them and are they permanent?
Not the ones in the tires but the ones in the bodies or frames.
Is is possible for someone to remove the RFID chips and put it on another chassis?

They are permanently attached to the frame rail with tamper proof fastners.
NASCAR attaches them when the bare frame/chassis is presented to them for inspection and certification. At the same time it is given a serial number.
Any time the frame/chassis get a major repair after a crash it has to go through the certification process all over again.
Under the hood — usually super-glued to the spring on the radiator cap. That way no one messes with it ’cause it is always boiling in there.
looks like they put them on the roof, in the center, above the windshield. As far as removing them, that would defeat their intended purpose, but you could take them off and put them on an ocean liner if you wanted to.
